    • About Me

BELIEVE in cherishing each day and working to accomplish goals to bring the dreams of tomorrow to life! Have lost 146 lbs in twenty-four months by focusing on positive self-talk and making a lifestyle change that includes healthy nutrition and exercise. Founded a weight loss support group here on DS and launched a weight loss blog in March of 2008. Am deeply passionate about both and did so to help others along their individual journeys. Am forever grateful to those who graciously and steadfastly supported and encouraged me on this journey of a lifetime. The effort to "pay it forward" is in their honor!

    • Close Eating Disorders
      Type: Bulimia

Previously used food to try to fill the void in my life and mistakenly thought the full feeling provided some comfort. Was secretly punishing myself for remaining in an unhealthy situation. A special caring friend brought an epiphany to my life and I made many positive changes. Have lost 133 pounds but now find myself struggling with some eating issues which has recently led to bulimia. Must face this next challenge and cross this bridge as well to get healthy and move on with my life.
