just wanted to say, don't feel bad about your baby being born with cataracts. I was, due to the Rubella my mom got, and I think being born with cataracts was the best gift god ever gave me. It taught me alot, like how to see people with their heart, and not with my eyes. also I'm 37, and going back to school for a bachelors in business and data communications. Today growing up blind isn't such a big deal, as it was when we were younger. When I was young, I had trouble seeing the blackboard, and teachers who weren't very friendly to me, and all that, but with accommodation laws in place now, your daughter shouldn't have any trouble. Just so you know too, they have schools for the blind and visually impaired, which helps alot, blind and visually impaired kids tend to have problems socializing with other kids, so growing up at a blind school really helped me to become independent, and socialze with other kids. anyway, if you ever have any questions, about anything, just let me know :) Tom
