Well the fireworks are over. They were really spectacular I have to say. I decided I would just sit in front of the patio door and watch. The dogs were not so afraid this time. I don't think they used as many of the ones that sound like bombs this time. They probably had an earful from all the old people who try to go to bed early from the last time they had fireworks.
The dogs sat at the door and watched the lights. There were a couple of times they ran back into the kitchen, but they didn't stay. We have a 14 year old cat that absolutely loves fireworks for some reason. Sammi rescued him before he even had his eyes opened. His mother was killed in the warehouse next to where Yolanda used to work. The guys that worked there just brought Toby in and layed him on Yolanda's desk. Sammi was his nanny.
He tried to go outside with Sammi tonight to get closer to the display.

I'm glad you got out to see them, i love fireworks, but where i live i only hear the bangs, i'd have to drive to see them, besides i'm usually in bed by dark.lol...Hope you had a great weekend Jean...
