About Me
Love music and old movies. Also traveling in motor home with my husband. Play the piano a bit but mostly for my own entertainment. My problem is severe tinnitus. The roar in my right ear is like the roar of the ocean magnified 100 times. The Hyperacusis in my left ear makes me very sensitive to certain sounds. I have had this for a few years and am still learning to cope.

Interests
My goal is to not let my Tinnitus and Hyperacusis interfere with my life in any way. We continue to take long trips in our motorhome and I love taking videos of all the sightseeing we do. It is a real hobby with me. I have videos and disc of my whole life including my children growing up. At that time it was on 8 millimeter film which I have had transferred to video. I have numbered and listed all of them on our computer and it is wonderful to be able to go back and relive different things.
My goal is to not let my Tinnitus and Hyperacusis interfere with my life in any way. We continue to take

Close Tinnitus
I have very severe tinnitus and hyperacusis. The roar in my right ear is the roar of the ocean magnified 100 times. My left ear is very sensitive to certain sounds.
Treatments
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- No side effects. I also am on Xanex, .5 mg. 3xdaily Really works.
- Lipo-Flavanoid Working / Worked
- Just started using it but I learned from a friend of a friend that it actually cured the tinnitus and her tinnitus was severe. It can be purchased over the counter and the cost is $29.95 for 100 tablets. You take one tablet 3 times a day or for severe problems 2 tablets 3 times a day. I alreay have noticed a difference. Close Diverticulitis
I have irritable bowel syndroms which leads to diverticulitis. Have been hospilized twice for this problem. Have you all been told to avoid nuts, seeds, and popcorn? What treatments have you found to help you with this problem??? I would so much like to hear them. Hugs to all. FranD
