Journal Entry for June 26, 2008 Mood
Thursday, June 26, 2008 | A General Update story

Just an update on yesterday, I got my results back from the colonoscopy and all was clear. They removed a polyp and took some biopsys but they all came back clear. All the blood tests were normal too so they have concluded that I have IBS which I already knew lol.  They advised me to eat little and often instead of 3 meals a day and to drink peppermint tea for the bloating. Here's hoping it works and that I start to lose some weight.

Whilst I was at the hospital I was amazed at the amount of smokers who were totally disregarding the 'not smoking on hospital grounds' rule. I had to pass 3 elderly men smoking right at the main entrance of the hospital and they weren't even blowing their smoke away from people.  How disgusting!!!!!

On another note I am awaiting the imminent arrival of my twin nieces. My brothers girlfriend is in labour and her waters have broken so hopefully the girls wont be too much longer in arriving lol.

Love to you all Michelle xxxxxxx

Glad your test came out okay. It's always such a strain as we get older and have to get this stuff done. IBS isn't any fun either. I hope the doc's recommendations help you deal with it.
