Well another week begins and I am feeling really happy for my friend Jane. She found out at the weekend that she is pregnant with her first child and I am just so happy for her and her husband.

I am still continuing with my quit and I am now really going to concentrate on the extra weight I put on. I am using my cross trainer and I can go for longer but I am looking at my diet too. Any suggestions for healthy meals will be gratefully received.

    Beans on toast - thats a healthy meal
    and salad, not quite sure what else really except for fish and stuff chicken , i dont know if youve seeen it but there is a support group on hear called 'healthy eating' maybe you can join that and get some ideas from there ??
    And as for your friend Jane, can you give her my love and tell her im soo pleased for her too lol

    It's probably not the meals but the snacks that have put the weight on since you quit smoking. Try snacking on healthy alternatives like carrots and apple slices and other whole foods such as fruits and veggies. Fill up on fiber.

    Heh quit sister, you might check out the group here at DS, Fresh Start....you can access it from my profile, it has some inspiration from many of us here that have gained "quit weight" me, 20 pounds, it happens, I've lost three of that, there's some nice eating suggestions as well! Better to be a little chubby than to still be smoking! (((Hugs Sis)))
