Restyle, hang in there, i was diagnosed June 2005 & so far so good. I retired in June 2006 & stay pretty active for 64 going on 65. I'm putting you along with all others on this website on my prayer list. Frank

I was diagnosed with CML in June 07, I too am on gleevec and it is working. A blessing that we have this medication. Good luck, Blondina

Close Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)
Went for yearly check up in May 07. Had blood done and they found the elevated white blood count. Started Gleevec in June 07. Doing very well.
Treatments
- Gleevec Working / Worked
- Has worked very well so far. It has been about a month and a half that I have been on it. White count is normal. Side effects are nausea, diarrhea, puffy eyes
