First & foremost-I'm a spirit being having a human experience. In gratitude, I'm a mom of 3 wonderful children. Learning--healing--listening & growing. Process--to & through progress throughout your life span. We are never fully finished being educated. As soon as we THINK we are--another trial or test comes to show us otherwise. Truth cannot be compromised, drama is for a stage & life isn't one-it's too precious to take advantage of. I believe we become what we practice and we reap what we sew. I believe you are what you hang with and there's no such thing as perfect-Perfect hung on a cross so I (we) wouldn't have to. "Love & Liberty work no ill toward his/her neighbor."

Support Groups
Close Codependency
Societies and cultures all over the world are established on Co-dependent behavior. What else enables such care-taking? I get to chose to be a co-creator-NOT a co-dependent-DAILY!

- I have read numerous books. Knowledge in the head is one thing, putting it into practice is completely different.

- Talk is cheap-actions speak louder than words....Having others to talk to about the things I'm struggling with helps, but also I think that talking about it too much feeds a monster.

Learning that you can only give away what you have and are comfortable with is VITAL for a successful life.

I was born into a family of alcholics and have come to understand it all to well. Probably a testiment to why I do so well in my psych classes.

- It helps to hear that you are not the only one experiencing things.

- I've been to several AA meetings to understand my biological father, grandfather's addictions and those that have been in my life that choose treatment/recovery programs.
- Al-Anon Somewhat Helpful
- I attended my first Alateen meeting when I was 9 years old. I think they need to do more to educate the youth.
- Prayer Working / Worked
- This did more for me than all of them listed above.
Open Physical & Emotional Abuse
I despise abuse in any form. Emotional, mental, spiritual & physical. Caring for and about others can become toxic, when they don't see their own patterns of abuse, neglect, control & manipulation. Education=prevention + common sense.

Been around addicts my entire life. Often wonder and have seen numerous reports on being addicted to computers, or as Time Magazine put it "screen sucking". It is so easy to judge others and not really see our own addictions.
