I'm a little late on my 27 week journal entry but all is well with Gabriel. I'm having a lot of issues with carpal tunnel which is driving me crazy. I'm hoping that when I go to the doctor on Wednesday they will be able to do something for it. Well it's hurting bad to type now so I'm going to keep it short. Take care!

I had carpal tunnel as well. Fortunatly I was still working at the time in an Orthopaedic clinic so one of the doc's gave me some wrist splints to wear to bed at night. Not very sexy but worked like a charm. See if you can snag yourself a pair. This condition is pretty common with pregnancy especially if you are swollen.

I had some issues with that during my pregnancy, and I do case management (so if I don't type I don't make any $$$). I used those carpal tunnel braces on my wrists (that helped some), along with frequent breaks and stretching of my hand and wrist muscles and ROM of the joints. Those things seemed to help, but other than that I was told that it's all comfort measures, because it should go away after the swelling goes down after delivery (and that doesn't happen for a week or better afterwards). I'm glad to hear that your pregnancy is going well.
