Well, how did the little guy and his momma survive Christmas? I remember my first Christmas as a new mom, the old aunts got a hold of my baby and I couldn't get him back! I went to Africa for work in November 2006- got 4 immunizations end of October-1 week later my life with Lupus started (didn't know it at the time). Now after being on 15 mgs of prednisone and 100 mgs of cellcept, I managed to get off of everything and am in remission. Had to go back to 2 mgs prednisone after getting pregnant, and still on plaquinol..
Treatments
- Celebrex Working / Worked
- knocked down pain from "I want to die and can't move" to "this sucks but it's workable". Not on it anymore...
- Cellcept Working / Worked
- I'm not on it anymore (had to go off to get pregnant) but along with the prednisone it really helped to knock down my AB levels. But man it's EXPENSIVE!!!
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- I think it's working, I haven't had a flare since the first one, so maybe that's part of it?
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Amazing - reduced pain after 5 hrs. I felt like I was floating (after being crippled for a month). I did manage to get completely off of it, but after I got pregnant I had a bit of swelling in the hands so now I'm on 2 mgs and that seems to be working...
