Close Step Families
I am a mother to 2 sons, and 2 stepdaughters. I have been married for 12 years, and I currently do not work to spend more time with the kids.
Close Parenting Teenagers (12-18)
I have children that are 18, 16, 13, and 8. The all have birthdays coming up in the next couple of months. We all get along fairly well.
Open Parenting 'Tweens (9-12)
I have 3 children who live with my husband and I - a 16 year old son, who will be 17 in 2 months; a 13 year old stepdaughter, who will be 14 in a few weeks; and an 8 year old son, who will be 9 in about a month. He is the one who has a problem with showing extreme attitude whenever I speak with him.

- Patience Working / Worked
- I have to exercise patience when I'm dealing with my kids. They try to get away with a lot of stuff because I can be quite patient.
Open Chronic Pain
I have had chronic pain for the last 6 years, following a gall bladder surgery and a hysterectomy. It's been fun since then.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Not Working
- Took it only for 2 days and had major anxiety. Had to go to ER b/c nothing helped to take away anxiety.
- Flexeril Working / Worked
- Heat Working / Worked
- Hydrocodone Working / Worked
- Used Lortab in the beginning before pain got too bad. Took with food so it wouldn't worsen my IBS.
- Lyrica Working / Worked
- Methadone Working / Worked
- Mobic Not Working
- Can't take b/c of IBS, it makes IBS worse.
- Naproxen Not Working
- Can't take because it worsens my IBS.
- Neurontin Not Working
- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- I get Percocet to help me stop the cycle of pain. I usually get enough for 3 days.
- Topamax Not Working
