Thank you so much for your kinds words and your support. I would love to send Luke to a school for ADHD children but there are no close schools around Kentucky! Luke is on an IEP at school but I just know that his teacher hates him. Last week at the meeting I asked him to be removed from her class. They said absolutly not! I don't understand it. I think I might write to the board about the treatment he is recieving and see if something can be done! But thanks again for everything! I hope you have a great day!

Close ADHD / ADD
My son has been diagnosed with ADHD, and life is very difficult for the rest of us. My husband and I are at the end of our tether with him, and his little sister suffers too, and she has got herself an attitude problem as she sees him get attention with his tantrums so she does the same to get some too. Would appreciate anyone to talk to with similar problems
Treatments
- Ritalin Working / Worked
- Had to go onto these when Equasym was not available. Works the same as Equasym
Close Arthritis
Have had arthritis in my lower back for years. I have had steroid injections about 3 years ago, which actually worked, but I dread it when the bad pain and the sciatica return. I have to cope with a son who has ADHD too, so life is very hard at the moment.

Open Pet Bereavement
Have lost several pets over the years. Last year we lost about 6, a cat, dog, gerbils (both at the same time!), the rabbit only 2 weeks after we moved, and a fish. 2 years ago we have our cross collie put to sleep because she had cancer and there was no hope of recovery. We had only had her a year as we got her from a rescue home. We were all upset.
Open Family & Friends of Cancer Patients
My dad died of cancer in 1991. My husbands dad also died of cancer in the late 1970's. Now I have a great cousin who is receiving treatment for cancer.
Open Anxiety
I feel anxious about many things. How my son will get on when he;s older, how my daughter will turn out, the little hooligans on this estate who cause havoc, darker nights coming in, money worries. Need I go on?
Open Parents of Children with ADHD
My son is 10 with ADHD and behaviour problems. His meds have just changed to a one a day, but wear off in the evening. He makes our lives difficult at times, but mostly we can cope. Although he has lots of trouble at school, where they DON'T seem to cope with him very well.
Open Bullying
My daughter has been picked on at school due to her 'odd' behaviour. My son (who has ADHD)has also been bullied on occasion and we get harrassment from hooligan kids on our estate.
