Surgery Is Scheduled Mood
Friday, September 5, 2008 | An Anxious story

I had my appointment yesterday with the surgeon.  The surgery to remove my gall bladder is now scheduled for Sept. 15th.  The surgeon is confident that it will go smoothly and I should be able to return home the same day.  That would be nice!  But that's the same thing the surgeon who did my intestinal remove said and I ended up being in the hospital for 8 days.  I'm praying that this will be different.

My hubby isn't so sure.  He thinks that the doctor let me go too early the last surgery.  I told him that I'm sure if anything goes wrong, or they have to cut me open, they will keep me there.

Please pray for me and hope that this will be the last time they take anything out of this body of mine!  I want to go out just as I came in, with everything in tact!

God Bless!

Susie

As I said before you are always on my prayer list. I am at least glad the Dr. seems to be confident that this will solve your troubles. Lets hope so.

Susie - I had my gallbladder out several years ago - laproscopic surgery with no complications. I got out immediately and was jumping out of houses (looking for new houses) within a week.

I hope your surgery goes well and that you have a fast recovery.

So sick and tired of being "sick and tired" Mood
Tuesday, September 2, 2008 | A Sad story

I haven't entered into my journal for quite some time now, I've been busy being sick.  Oh don't get me wrong, I'm trying my darndest to be upbeat and positive, but sometimes it's so hard when all you worry about is what is going to happen next.

I'll find out on Thursday if I'll need more surgery to remove my gallbladder or not.  The doctor was worried that I might have another attack (pancreatic) before removing it.

I'll try to post more often, and keep updated on what's happening.

Love and blessings

So glad to hear from you. Hope things start to look up for you soon. At least they know what to take care of. It is such a bummer when they do not know what is the cause of medical troubles.
