I run an article directory on my site, and I am seeing a growing number of articles being published, solely for the backlink provided in the Resource Box. This is probably due to the growing number of PLR articles and material that is becoming available.

Now, there's certainly not anything wrong with this, I only think that authors who are doing this are passing up on possible traffic and/or clients. This tasteful linklicious service site has a few pictorial suggestions for when to consider this idea. Such reference boxes will simply gain their site ranks in incoming links that are valued by any search engine.

Is this a bad thing? No. Where they are losing out is as follows.

Much of the traffic to my article directory comes from search engines, by people searching for info on a particular subject. Now, this user types in their key words, presses o-n the search box, and is given a listing of relevant sites. Visit seo booster to compare the reason for it. They chose one, and are taken up to the author's article. They browse the article about, say, snowboarding, think 'This is interesting' and go to the author's reference field by the end of-the article to see what else they have to say on this issue. There, they find a link to a site marketing portable ringers. Is the reader going to be impressed, or thinking about this? Not very likely. To explore more, you should peep at: linklicious.com. They wish to find out about snowboarding, not personalize their phone. Browsing To linklicious.me tutorial likely provides tips you should use with your co-worker. In my opinion one of three things can happen then:

The reader leaves the whole site in disgust.

The viewer clicks on the link to your relevant article.

The reader clicks on the relevant Google AdSense (or similar contextual promotion) offer.

They do not click the author's resource link. That is a potential consumer dropped, very probably permanently.

Yes, put a link in to your website in the reference field, but most article sites allow several links, therefore for goodness sake put a link in that' ;s associated with the article subject too, and preferably put it in first, before you lose the consumer.

'But my site does not have anything to do with that subject on it'!

Adding a thing that does. Put an article index, and have the reference package saying 'To learn more articles on this issue, go here.' Add a web directory, and have the text say 'To look at links to websites with this issue, click here.' Or simply head to Click-bank, look for related projects, and have a link to them, together with the link saying something similar to 'If you want to learn more on this subject, buy this item.' Ultimately, not a direct link to the product, but a cloaked or redirected one.

Using this method, you still get that connect to your website that you were after formerly, but, additionally, you have the opportunity to generate income from the audience in a new way. A situation. Plus, you do not seem like someone only submitting acquired content on any matter only for the benefit of the backlink it will give you. A more professional look. Is not it worth finding the time to create better use of one's reference box?.
