Hi

I might be a little older than most in your group, I am 32 and was diagnosed by age 26 but really believe I have suffered with fibro since puberty. I have a 10 year old who seems to suffer many of the early signs and symptoms of fibro as well although I try to take her "growing pains" and headaches etc seriously without alerting her to the possibility that it might be the start of something more sinister. I seem to sympathise with the younger viewpoint when watching discussions in the larger fibromyalgia support group and realise that there are a whole different set of obstacles to deal with when fibro strikes the younger person. I feel I have a young outlook but my disease makes me live a life of someone older than myself. I hope you will find me a welcome member of your group.
With love,
Coralie xXx

I am 20 Years old and I was diagnosed when I was 13! It is very hard being so young with such a terrible thing...but I am strong and we all can be, we just have to support each other!
