It's just disappeared?

Posted on 02/18/09, 05:49 pm
My psychiatrist tells me that my obsessive compulsive may have just disappeared. I didn't know things like that could just go away. Does that sound right to you? If it can really happen, I hope the bi polar just disappears too.

I don't know but I know the bipolar is there to stay. I think im a bit obsessive complusiveness like you and some days it runs stronger than others.

I have OCD......and mine doesn't "disappear" but it decreases when stress decreases. It is weird because mine is the WORST around people I'm closest too, probably another head trippy thing in itself. I don't believe it just goes away. your symptoms, or mine i should say, ebb and flow. maybe he's trying to be positive cause he see's your doing better......my ocd was the worst it's been a couple months ago, now I'm doing better......course therapy is helping out.....

Could it be that it shifts with your mood shifts? Mine certainly does. I'm OCD the most when I'm in a manic mood, but I used to be the most OCD when I was depressed. I guess it changes every now and then.
