Good... almost afternoon. LOL Well, I don't know what happened but this mornings time flow just went out the window and I am finally getting on DS. I did have a good day yesterday. I would do a little and rest, do some more and rest. But by 8:30 pm I was tired and had to give in to sleep. At least, I have the bushes trimmed now until spring. I have Wednesday off as a holiday (Veteran's Day). I think I'll do my last mowing of the yard that day.
Marg, You have some wonderful birds that come around your place. We have cardinals, bluejays, bluebirds, mourning doves, juncos, house finch, golden finch, hummingbirds, sparrows, robins, crows and cowbirds and I am probably forgetting some. I love watching the birds.
Regarding some of the downloads that have been recommended by our technology department and I have seen this Kim Kommando advises is SpyBot Search and Destroy, Lavasoft AdAware and Spywareblaster. I have all three besides the antivirus and Windows Defender. It was Spybot S&D that caught a recent Trojan on my computer. Anyways, I hope I have it pretty well protected now. I really did not have any problems with AVG, but then it never did find anything so I don't know if that's good or bad. LOL Computers can be a mystery.
I better end for now, need to do a few things around here. Take care and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing Sunday.
Love & Hugs,
Judy

Hello everyone
Well we have an early taste of summer here with temperatures around 90'. A bit too hot for my liking actually.
It was sunny and still and I was able to get the winter blankets and the floor mats washed which was a job I have had to put off for a while. Even with the increase in temperatures my feet have not been a big problem today so we will see how it goes over the rest of the week as they are predicting that it will be hot until after next weekend. Maybe the diuretic is finally helping and yes I will be buying some potassium when we are in town on Wednesday.
Tomorrow I am going to try and get the incentive to wash my dog as she is starting to need one....thankfully she is a clean girl but now and then it is nice to get her clean.
But it is evening here now and the temperature has dropped a bit. The sky is clear and we have one of the telescopes out and have been looking at Jupiter and four of it's moons and will wait until it is a bit darker and see what other planet and stars we can see before bedtime.
Some people have asked me what sort of birds we have visiting our trees and feeder. There are so many but I will try and list them for you. I will start with the smallest ones and go up in size.
Wrens - Superb Blue Wren, as well as some other varieties whose names we are not able to find at the moment.
Finches - there are a two to three different ones.
The common Sparrow - though they tend to spend most of their time up in the chicken pen - good food up there.
Oriels - Olive ones.
Honey Eaters.
Crimson Rosellas,
Lorikeets
Rainbow Parrots (my favourites they are so colourful and pretty)
Grass Parrots - they are the colour that their name indicates.
Bronze Wing Pigeons
Common Pigeons
Galahs - Pink and grey birds and they mate for life and we have at least two pair that visit.
Magpies - black and white birds that are very annoying when they are nesting as the will dive-bomb you.
Currawongs - black and grey. The black come as a group of 8-10, The grey often one or two at a time.
Sulphur Crested Cockatoos - white with a wonderful yellow comb
Crows/Ravens which we try to discourage.
Through the year there are other birds who pass through like the Robin Red Breasts and the Swallows.
Some stay and breed and others just stay for a while and then continue on their way.
Susan glad you dropped by even if it were only a quick hello.
Always good to see you.
Judy I guess that panic was because you only worked three days and your body is used to five. Glad you calmed down and had a good day.
We have avast and we find it great. You do have to register it each year but it has picked up some Trojans that AVG let through in the past so I am happy about that and it just sits there doing it's thing in the background.
Hope that your new one will work for you as well as you need it to. We use SuperAntiSpyware which was recommended by a friend's computer specialist and it also is working well.
Hope that you managed to get things done that you wanted to and still have time to relax before having to go back to work on Monday.
Have a Safe Sunday and continue to smile - even if you have to "fake" it.
Loving hugs, Marg

Love to all and best wishes for a lovely Sunday (what's left of it). The temp is 72 and sunny here...beautiful blue skies. Gotta go get under that blue sky and sunshine while it lasts. Susan -

Hi all! Beautiful weather here too! Close to 80's I believe.
We had a cookout yesterday....after taking my sister to my doctor......and lo and behold.....she has blockage in the right cartaroid artery in the neck...she goes back this Wednesday for her lab tests....she also is think my sister has a bacterial gut infection from surgery years ago that is causing the outbreaks, swelling and possible other aneurysms maybe around or in her heart. The other doctor we have no idea why he never cked any of this out when she had her ministroke like 3 months ago.
So finally she has a doctor that is going to get down to the nitty gritty and help her get her good health back! She also believes it is possible that my sister has Lupus....we will know alot of answers after they get the results from the tests done this coming Wednesday.
Afterwards we went to KFC and ate their buffet! YUMMMMMMM!
Then came home and had a cookout and sat out on the deck all afternoon and evening....a simply beautiful fantastic day all the way around!
The children loved it and we enjoyed them greatly! My sister had brought one of her grandsons 18 month old and everyone got along great....lots of laughter and good times!
My son had been to a touch football game....they came in last of 4 teams....but had lots of fun!
Then my son proceeded to play with my two oldest grandsons....and wear them out!
This was my hubby's second attempt to cookout on this grill and everything came out wonderfully....even if they all ate so much not much left for me....helped me keep to my diet to a degree! LOL!
Did not get my bills, mail or other stuff done....but it was a very relaxing day....I enjoyed it greatly!
Well got to go and now catch up on some work. LOL!
Love you all....and have a great Sunday!

Hi everyone.. it was a beautiful day here today also.... very warm. I have had the past four days off due to NJ's Teacher Convention. This is the time set aside for all teachers to go to Atlantic City for their annual convention. I used to attend (when I was much younger) Now I just enjoyed the four days off. My husband and I spent the day cleaning up the outdoor furniture to get ready for the winter. Even though we are having these warm days I know winter will soon be upon us. Tuesday we are heading down to the beach to close up the house down there. We are getting some work done on the house so we will be moving some of the furniture out while the work is getting done. The old place is getting a bit of a face lift and none too soon. I loved hearing about your birds Marge. I have had a bird feeder in my yard since I was married. Got a new one last year that was supposed to be squirrel proof. The other day I looked out the window and there on the top sat the biggest fattest squirrel ever.. So much for squirrel proof. Ha!
Got to go and get some stuff done for school tomorrow.
Love to all ..
