A cat has absolute emotional honesty: human beings, for one reason or another, may hide their feelings, but a cat does not.

Yes they do! My male cat that is like 19 years old will swat you in a minute if he does not like you messing with him.....good thing he has no claws! And no, I did not have them removed....I got him and it was already done to him.
He also will wake me up if he needs petted or if he thinks I have overslept! He is my sweetie! -

Yes, I do love them too Rhea. My Raine is my man cat, lover boy. So demanding but so intensely loving too. They make up for their brutality in giving much pleasure to those they own. :) -

Ernest Hemingway was given a six-toed cat by a ship's captain and some of the cats who live on the grounds are descendants of that original cat from what I understand...about half of the sixty that live at the estate are also polydactyl. -

My sister adopted a kitten since her cat passed away not too long ago. This kitten has 6 toes on his rear feet and 7 toes on his front feet. I have only seen a picture of him... maybe I'll post it. His feet look a little odd to say the least. His name is Smokey.
