Virtual Meryl Streep Movie Night Idea for our group :)

Good Morning Ladies...I am wishing you all a beautiful day. I have an idea for us that might be fun. We all live far apart from one another so getting together in person is not possible, but I wonder if anyone would be interested in a virtual Meryl Streep Movie Night, together? She has tons of films out on video and it might be fun to watch them together, once a month, or so...and then comment on the film.

If anyone is interested, let me know...we can choose one wed each month and choose one film, starting with her earlier films. Watching the movie together at the same time, while online and commenting as we go.

  I love Meryl Streep, she is my favourite actress :)..... actually whenever I am faced with a difficult work or sometime social situation or am stuck on a packed commuter train,I 'do a Meryl' lol, I pretend I am playing a part and ace it !!! I couldn't stream a weekly movie, but do like the occasional DVD. Who are other people's fave female actors and why?........ as someone once said.   I love her too! FYI, the suggestion is a monthly movie, not weekly. That woman is so Strong and Vibrant and I love that she is embracing her aging the way she is and growing older with such grace and humor. She is a great role model.

  which movie do we want to watch first? i believe we have a tentative starting date of aug 8, at 7:00, pacific time? i'm wondering if that might be kinda late for our east coast gals.

  This has actually turned into a "Real" Movie night at my place on 8/8 at 6 pm PST. I have about 8 g/fs coming over! lol...We will be watching ADAPTATION at 6 pm on 8/8. Netflix has it for streaming. I plan to post comments after the movie to all of you...and it will be fun knowing that we will all be watching the same film on the same evening...although I think it will be at different times because of time zones. I'll put up a separate post for all that wish to participate.
  Of course if anyone is in the SF Bay Area and would like to come over, let me know :)

  I would love to join in for a safe Movie Night. Meryl is the Best!!!. Aug 8th would work for me, I'll have to get it from Netflix because I don't have all the other high tech computer stuff. I am in MST zone.

  I would love to join in. I love her too! my favourite is Bridges of Madison county but i recently watched Julia and Julie and loved it so much plus its complicated, so great. I'm in Ireland but it would be the middle of the night if i joined in unfortunately!! I'll see how i am that day maybe if I'm not sleeping I'll join in, if not enjoy ladies;)

  It would still be fun to watch it at anytime on 8/8...and then we can all talk about it the nest day or later that night.

  YAY...I am thrilled that so many women will be participating...there is something about even just watching a movie together on the same night that helps me feel connected...and That is a very Positive thing.
