anyone like scary stories? share some of your own personal stories here....
i always like horror or eerie stories.

here's on of mine:

one time, some years ago, i started dating this guy while i was stationed in VA. we were bored one day and came up with this idea that we should drive out to VA Beach for the weekend. i can't remember which of the days it was but we went into this restaurant to eat and the jute box was stuck on this song by Johnny Cash over and over. i was so annoyed after about the 5th time i told the waitress to please make it stop. she told me it's been stuck like that for hrs and they can't make it stop. they have tried everything under the sun to make it stop, even cut power to it but it won't quit.

when i got home from my mini vacation i put on the news and found out that Johnny Cash had died while we were down at VA Beach. i was so creeped out! till this day i can't stand listening to Johnny Cash, cuz it's creepy.

wow.. that is REALLY CREEPY, bluesun! Don't know if I can go to sleep now because of it... hmmmmm..well, I DO have a 'creepy story'. And, it IS real. In fact, part of the real-ness is the fact that my brother witnessed the same thing (i.e. in the same bedroom, but different sounds!) Anyway, when we were kids .. we're talkin maybe late 1970's.. we would stay all night at my cousins' house (that lived up on a hill). I recall bein awakened it seems more than once hearing the sound of 'boots' walking/marching up stairs.. more than ONCE! I slept in the same bed as my cousin and she never heard a thing... my brother slept in the other bed in the same room.
He didn't hear that either. However, my brother (who like me is NOT a 'story-teller' or exaggerater) one night told me he was awakened (in this same room ..) to the sounds of a 'dinner ball' going on right around him in the dark bedroom where we slept. Yeah, he could hear glasses 'tinkling', a woman finished singing and then applause by a very large audience.. conversations..etc.! He even stated he woke my cousin up and asked her if she heard it.. she didn't.
Now, my brother and myself were not on drugs nor suffer from mental illness. We still don't understand to this day, where the 'boots marching' and 'dinner ball' sounds came from?? These cousins lived on a big hill, secluded out in the 'country'!!
There is my creepy story for today.

Here is one story: I consider myself to be sensitive and when I was a teen I learned how to ignore things to keep me from sensing. My sister was the one who actually saw ghosts. Anyway, I had strange experiences. The closet door was always opening in the middle of the night. I also saw a bright orb either blue or red dont remember floating in my room. I felt something often walking on my bed and felt the indentations. I then began reading about spirits and divination. I remember one day I was sitting outside of a college building waiting for my ride. I got a strange feeling but that was natural since I was alone. So, I got a piece of paper and drew everything for a ouiji board. I used one of my ring as the pointer. I asked in a whisper, "Is someone here show me as sign", and suddenly the doulbe doors of the building flew open. These were a metal doors and there was no breeze. Its the kind with the push bar so it would not naturally open the opposite way. There was also no other door near by that would cause it to open due to air pressure. I was all alone and it was after hours. This totally freaked me out and I never did it again.

This one is something that happened to a high school friend. Her mom told me the story, so I know its true (her dad later confirmed). Anyway they used to live right in front of a cemetery (the wall in the backyard was the wall of the cemetery.) As a little kid, she used to see a hooded figure by her door at night. She told her mom and dad so they had a priest bless the house and they hung a rosary on her bedpost. One night, her parents heard a scream and immediately ran to her room (her door was visible from their door) and found that she WAS NOT in her bed. SHe was curled up in a little ball laying on the floor at the bottom of the stairs, as if she was placed there without a scratch on her. When she was asked what happened, she told her parents that the hooded figure lunged at her and she didn't remember anything after that. Steph's mom started waking up with nightmares of rings of fire around her bed and they immediately moved after that. I know her mom wasn't making that shit up...and her dad later told me the same story.

This isn't really creepy this is more scary to me, anyways when I was 19 my husband and me moved to our first apartment he working the 3rd shift,so he wasn't home at night... I woke up hearing window busted out and someone coming in, my apartment was being robbed, I grab my cats who were on the bed with me and run to the bathroom and lock myself in the towel closet... I sat there for atleast 4 hours listening to them tear my apartment apart before the left.. Thank god for renter insurance. Sadly the next year around the sametime though my husband was robbed at gun point after my husband withdrew 2000$ in cash for his car.

A friend of mine told me about her dad and friend making their way back home late at night through a cemetery. They were driving the car through the road where the cemetery is right next to it with a big creepy tree growing there. All of a sudden the car stopped, they got out and could not find anything wrong with the car. They said a prayer and they were able to get it started again. You can be sure they got out of there real fast. I don't think I want to be stuck either in a cemetery at night.

I have many creepy stories (something my friends enjoy hearing often) and I swear, they're all true. I value honesty above all else.

One such story happened when I was younger, around 11 or 12. I was awake late one night (I've always been a night person, even at that age) while the rest of my family slept, when I heard someone going down the stairs. Thinking it was a family member I called out and asked them to bring me something to drink on their way back up. No response came, but I shrugged it off. Then I heard them come back up, but no one came into my room. I figured they hadn't heard me, so again, I shrugged it off.
Less than a minute later, I heard someone head back down the stairs again, only this time faster. When I called out and still didn't get a response I left my room and peered down the steps. I didn't see anyone and was about to go down them when I heard the footsteps again, this time coming back up fast, but there was no one there!
Let me tell you, I'd never booked it back to my room so fast before! I even went so far as to push a chair against my door! The footsteps continued to go up and down the stairs for what seemed like forever, getting faster and faster, like someone was running at top speed, when they suddenly stopped as abruptly as they had started.
The next morning, my family said they hadn't heard anything. It never happened again. I still have no explaination, but for a long time I never left my room at night, not even to go to the bathroom.
Damn, I've got chills just remembering it.
