Hi I figured I would share how I have been doing this past month. I started at 195# went down to 190# two weeks ago. Then came Thanksgiving oh boy Up to 194#. And this week I lost a pound. I am just watching my portion sizes until I get it down pat. I am joining Curves in January. Wish me luck. How is everyone else doing with their weight loss?

im having trouble starting! tomorrow....thats what i say everyday! i have gained 15#s in the past year, i started a new job. i actually ate less candy when i ran a candy store!! oh the evil irony....any tips on getting started? oh, i also quit smoking this past year...... -

Congrats on quitting smoking I quit 2 months ago. Start out easy like drink water exclusively, it flushes your system of all kinds of nasty stuff. Eliminate junk foodas and drinks, you can drop 5 lbs alone by doing this. Make sure you are eating the correct portion sizes, I was not at all and I have lost some weight just by doing those two simple things. Personally I would wait on adding other things to do until you get these down pat. You don't want to get overwhelmed because that gives you a bigger reason to quit. -

thanks! i will start the water thing immediately! i used to drink a lot of water, lately more dt mt dew than anything else! -

FYI studies have shown that those that drink diet drinks tend to weigh more then those that don't. Weird but true.
