Found my father shot to death

I was 10 yrs old when I found my father thrown on the curb to the house we lived in back in April of 1977. He had four bullets in his head, this was in Passaic, NJ; to date, there has been no movement on this case. To say that it has gone cold is a severe understatement, I can't even find anything on old newspaper archives regarding this horrific crime. If anybody even thinks they might have information on this matter, please reach out.
