The University Depression Study Group consists of a small group of academic researchers devoted to studying depression in an effort to improve depression care. We do so through anonymous online surveys that allow us to learn from the experiences of people living with depression. Our team includes medical professionals and social scientists, all from top research universities. If you are 18 or older, we invite you to join our group and participate in our survey research projects.
Yes, I have major depression and BiPolar. My psyc has tried all new meds and he said that my body resists these. This is hard to believe when they say that depression is the easiest thing to treat. I also have chronic anxiety which I take Klonopin 2mg X3; Vistaril 50mg X2; and BuSpar 10mg X 3. These do help me for my anxiety. As for depression, I wil have to live with it. I was in the seminary studying for the Catholic priesthood and was a teacher, but had to leave both professions which I think is unjust and unfair.
