the side effects of some of the antidepressants
Posted on 10/05/09, 10:39 pm
have good results with Ltryptophan, St. John's wort, sunshine and and lots of selfhelp books, eg. "the power of now" voluteering for the talking book library, line dancing ect. The problem I have SAD, narcolespy and chronic insomia. Prozac kills the sex drive. I have been on, since 1968 every type of antidepressant. I take nothing now. It takes a lot of work at trying to stay ahead of the depressions. I make no decisions from nov thru april. I moved to florida from Chicago. It has taken years for my desire for another to return. Really don't want to go back to the sexless winters. I take coumadin for a-fib, so St John"s wort is out. lulaB/jzdly

I am on antidepressants for more than 15 years, you are so right it really kills all my desires to have the intimate relationship, it is very sad for me and my husband who has been suffering with me for so many years till these days. I feel so guilty and hopeless, I wish we can rekindle the feeling soon, and it can come back one day, I miss the old time and the closeness between us....
