University Depression Study Group?
Posted on 03/23/09, 08:03 pm
Their last posting was 8/08. Is this group not active? I mean the researchers side of it. Kind of like the mental health care system. The patients are running the place. Do you think they just sit back an let us have one big group therapy session? Though, through my lengthy efforts combating my issues, I've found the most sincere compassion from other people going through the same things.

The whole site is dead. I wonder how much money they received for this debacle? -

I'm interested in this study, considering I have lived with sever depression most of my life. The medications that have been given to me have never helped me. I really found my help when I gave my life to the Lord. I however still have my moments when things are tough as they are now the devil slips in to feed me his negativity, & I don't like the taste of that, so I try to go into time out mode. -

When they started this group they started by asking those that belonged to the group questions. Then somehow the group was taken over by the patients. We were no longer asked questions by our learned Drs and other professionals. Oh Well...

The University Depression Study Group consists of a small group of academic researchers devoted to studying depression in an effort to improve depression care. We do so through anonymous online surveys that allow us to learn from the experiences of people living with depression. Our team includes medical professionals and social scientists, all from top research universities. If you are 18 or older, we invite you to join our group and participate in our survey research projects.
