Health care in different counties
Posted on 10/04/09, 10:55 pm
Hi,
Is there anyone on here, who has moved counties and find that the type and level of health care that they receive, varies from county to county.
I've mainly found this with regards to mental health. What we can get in Cornwall was totally different to what we can get in Somerset (or should I say can't get in Somerset). Likewise we have a friend across the border in Dorset with the same diagnosis and the level of care and support she gets is totally different to us in Somerset.
Surely if we are the National Health Service, we should expect to get the same treatment irrespective of where we live.
