I have Fibromyalgia and have had it for 15 years but only DX for 4 years.Due to this I have not worked for 4 years and now have to use a walking aid to get around.Been on so many meds that I can,y keep track of them,but was persribed a nwe one called Topamax a few weeks ago.It is the worse thing that I have ever taken and the side affects where just horrible.Due to all this I am now goin to go the alternitive route.Although I have a good doctor she is lost at what to say or do anymore.I now also have Arharitis srry splelt that wrong I think.Fibro Fog this morning lol.If anyone has any info on meds can you please let me know .Thanks Mia.

Hya there Mia ! I am on amytriptoline for depression plus arthritis but also as it is a tri core drug it helps with fybromyalgia too, im on top wack so to speak ! 150 mgs daily and I take them at night before bed and have found they help me alot, they are muscle relaxents so I sleep much better too!..... also I am on ketoprophen ( oruvail 200mgs for my arthritus and they are realy good too!.... have you tried these!?.. di .x. -

Can,t take the Amapriplin it had very side affects on them,I am trying to get something alternitive to help sick and tired of all the stuff.But waht can we do,not much.Thanks for your reply.Do you live in London?
