No I haven't been prescribe Champix. I went cold turkey - drank lots of water, ate lots of oranges and other foodstuffs and got addicted to Trebor Xtra Strong Minds.
What kept me stopped was every time I wanted to do it again I read about the benefits and then about the nasty toxins I was taking into my body, I also read on the web about what happend to a COPD patient who never stopped smoking. That really puts you off.

hi Doc! my husband was a 50 a day smoker, he went to the dr 2 months ago and asked for the smoking pill (champix!!) he gave up smoking 14 days into taking the pills and has not started smoking again yet, he is now on week 9!! so going from 50-60 a day for at least 15 years to none is excellent!!! i will say though that he does tend to have mood swings with them, we are going to see the dr about it but cant untill he gets back from work, my husband works on the coast guard ships and is away for 28 days then home 28 days he is due back in a week so we are going to see the dr as soon as he gets back! but yea they are great!! would highly recommend them
