please help!

I delivered my baby on 04/15 (was 17 weeks along) and then ended up having to have a D&C last Tuesday. I had no spotting since Thursday and then this morning, I woke up with what could be a period. Is it possible? I have heard that you are most fertile the month after a D&C so I am trying to figure out my cycle. Any suggestions or help is appreciated. This has been such a horrible emotional, physical roller coster.....GOD bless everyone on here. Thanks for your help.

  I am so unbelievably sorry for your loss. I will say that most likely that is residual bleeding from the D&C. I had my D&C last April and didn't have any bleeding for 5 days then I bled for almost 14 days straight. After all the bleeding stopped my period started 32 days later.
