Hello, my name is Jen & I am 28 years old. When I was 14 I started having problems with lots of pain! I thought it was normal! Nope, wrong! I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 19 & just dealt with the pain. I had my daughter a year before that, & I was told I would probably never be able to have any more kids. Much to my surprise on September 11 I found out I was pregnant with my son. Talk about a bad day to find out!!After a very scary pregnancy I was relieved when I finally had him. In 2003 my symptoms got very severe! I was having my menstraul cycle for 2 wks, then a 3 day break & havin it again. My Dr decided to try a dnc to see if that would help. It did, for about 2 months. I eventually had 5 more surgeries, including a hysteroscopy with baloon ablation. That pretty much meant that no matter what I would never have children again. This helped for about 6 months. The Dr said that my polyps that he had removed had come back. So, by May of 2006 I had been told that I had no choice but to have a hysterectomy. I was 25, and in a new relationship. About 2 months after my surgery my Dr closed his office & moved out of state. Well I made the mistake of thinking that since I had it done already I didnt have to worry about having regular exams. BIG MISTAKE! About 3 wks ago I found out that the doctor neglected to tell me that I was loaded with cancer cells. So now its a waiting game to see if he got them all.

OMG! It's like dejavu! I was about 15 when I started having problems and I have had 7 surgeries in 6 years. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and it just kept getting worse and kept coming back. So finally, three weeks ago I got my hysterectomy.
