Hello to everyone who comes by The Serenity Room
My hope for this group is to ashare our experiences and spread a positive attitude in the process of our recovery / healing process.
Neither myself or the admin on here claim to be experts in any of the therapeis / treatments we discuss, our objective is simply to offer our own opinions and support people in finding out more about the therapies they are interested in.
We are hoping in this group to post information on lots of different complimentry therapies and treatments that are available in the hope that people will go and research these for themselves and find out what works for each individual. A bit of trial and error as what works for one may not work for the other.
We all are the experts in our own lives and will all find different ways of recovering, the more we share this with others the more opportunities and options they have to help give themselves the live they deserve.
Remember that you are not alone and that one in four people will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of any given year. The vast majority of people go on to make a full recovery whilst others learn to manage their health problems and lead full and active lives.
