Now that I'm starting to feel less like I'm dead (but still very grotty) things are moving about in my head again. I thought I'd start a new game to help us all feel a bit more social as the tumbleweed has been rolling around the bottom of the lighthouse recently.
So it's all the usual rules - no obscenities, nothing offensive, no getting cross with each other. I would also like to add no hmpfing about the spelling of "favourite" amongst others. TPF and I are British - it's allowed.
This time, I would like you to ask the next poster what their favourite *blank* is. You can answer as many as you like, as long as you ask a question for the next poster. If you're answering, please give more than a one word answer, ie. if someone asks what is your favourite colour then don't just say 'blue' but tell us why you like it, if it's the colour of your favourite jumper, whether your room was painted blue when you were 7 etc. A little bit of imagination is adequate - you don't need to write a whole page if you don't want to, and a couple of sentences will be ample.
So, here goes:

I love Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough, as it's sweet and smooth but not as sickly as I now find the chocolatey things like Phish Food or Fossil Fuel.
TPF - What sort of books does Katharine Kerr Deverry write? Why do you like them?

****not an answer to fave question!****
She writes fantasy books called The Deverry series -they are wicked there are like 15 of them I think and I've been reading them since I was 17ish?? My Mum loves them too as well as one of my best friends...so we are always talking about them.
They are great - almost tolkein-esque but different, more magick in them and more celtic...plus much better elves and dwarves and gods!!!! -

My heart belongs to my big brown puppy, Cody. He is my favorite animal these days. On a grander scale, I love horses. They are beautiful animals with strong, beautifully proportioned bodies. Love to watch them run in fields and who can resist watching a Mare with her Colt. Besides, they are also fun to ride, and there are only a few animals which can safely be ridden.

Easy and possibly slightly predictable.....for semi precious gems I love Amethysts or Moonstone...but for more precious...it's got to be my Tanzanite! I have two pieces so far....one of which is my engagement ring (Lavender tanzanite)
BTW - hey Sherry and Irime! Nice to hear from you again! :D

Hangin out at my Grandparents farm. Grandpa was a farmer and an aviator (had his own plane in the hanger). Grandpa used to let me ride around the farm on the tractor while planting corn. We would often find Indian arrowheads in the dirt. Grandma had a garden in the back of the house. We would pick veggies and eat them right off the plant. My favorite were the fresh sweet peas right out of the pod. Grandma would send me out to pick blueberies or wild grapes and we would make jam, or pick walnuts from the big tree in her yard and make bread. She was an qwesome cook, and that's where I learned how to cook. So many great memories of Grandma and Grandpas house.
Good to hear from all of you too. I love Tanzanite too!

hmmmm... that's a difficult one, I have so many wonderful gifts. I think, as cheesy as it sounds, I'd have to say the emerald necklace that I recieved very early in my relationship with my boyfriend. It was a Christmas present, we had only been dating for nigh on a week, and I can see the mischevious impish look he gave me as he handed me the tiny wrapped box as if he had only done it yesterday. I value the sentiment of the gift, and that memory, so dearly... it's worth more than anything else I own.
(Ty, tpf~ I needed a break from reality for awhile. :) )

I live near a zoo, and it's a big name in England. When I move, I'll be very sad to leave it. We got out there again for the first time in ages a couple of weeks ago, and it was the first time since they'd added Lemurland, where you get to walk amongst lemurs with no glass or mesh or anything. I'm very fond of lemurs, and it was amazing to see them so close up - they're so cute and fluffy I just wanted to cuddle them all (but that's a no-no). Anyway, I can't wait to go back and see the fluffy lemurs again soon.
