I paint in watercolors and I use watercolor pans most of the time. I do how every use wartercolor in tubes acassionally. Watercolors are easier to work with and should be recommended for the beginners media. I could recommend a trusted website that deals with all types of paints and other crafts materials if you like.....

i guess you could call me a "Business Woman" but I hat that because my "Passion" is writing. I ahve written several TV Shows and have 2 books in the making. But the real reason I joined this group is to talk about 'Painting"...I feel a "painting" coming on...or maybe a chalk, I love "chalk"...I love the way it feels in your hand...very soft and kind os sticky...Oh well,sorry...I also have a 18th Century Make-up table that has been "crackled" white/silver with black cracckle. I want to leave the black Crackle but change the white/silver to "copper gold. The only way I can see doing it is with a gold leaf rub. The problem with that is it comes in a small tube and "nothing" I have found looka the same as the rub...hows' that for an intro...any suggestions are appreciated...L
