I've been watching what I eat and I went to the doctor's office to get weighed yesterday, so I could tell for sure, and I'm three pounds heavier! I don't understand!

That's frustrating. How long have you been watching your food? You may start tracking food and exercise and try to drink more water. If you've been doing these things, give it time to see results. In the first 6 weeks you shouldn't expect results (although they usually always come and you will start feeling much better). Keep at it and don't let this visit discourage you from your goals. -

I haven't thought to weigh myself here lately, but I don't feel like I've gained or lost any weight..... -

It can be so frustrating stepping on the scale. I weigh myself on the scale once a month and measure myself every 2 weeks. I can see the difference in my measurements it's less frustrating.Measure your arms, waist, hips, and thighs and before you know it your measurements will start shrinking. The best of luck to you.

This is an open-ended group for people who want to set a modest, but healthy, goal of losing 5 pounds per month. 5 pound doesn't sound like much, if you are obese -- but think about it! 5 pounds per month means 60 pounds per year, 120 pounds in 2 years, 180 pounds in 3 years, etc. Size doesn't matter. We welcome anyone who is attempting to make a healthy weight loss! We will offer each other support, advice and accountability. We do not welcome negativity or "flaming"
