Her Mother's Daughter-A MUST READ for women!!

I recently came across a book I'd heard of, being an avid reader, but never thought to actually read before. someone gave it to me, and having nothing else at hand at the time, I decided to go for it.
"Her Mother's Daughter" by Marilyn French.
I'm nearly done, having a hard time tearing myself away from it for the past three days, and I have found myself constantly saying "YES! EXACTLY!! This makes SENSE!!!! It all makes perfect SENSE!!!"
I had previously avoided the book, going by title and assuming it was some "mom and daughter have bad relationship, finally come to terms, I love you's all around and hugs galore, blah blah blah sob story" type novel. Not at ALL! It is by far the most enlightening book about the mother/daughter dynamic I have EVER read, brutally honest, and I shed not a single tear (and oddly, I think I understand my mother better, if not like her any better).
Having 20 pages or so left, I can only hope the author doesn't ruin it by sticking a gratuitious ending on it. Though even if she did, I could live with that, since the rest of the book is so brilliant.
If any of you have read this book, I would LOVE to get your feedback on it! If not, I HIGHLY recommend it!! It is NOT a self-help book, simply a true and honest novel that pulls no punches.
This book goes in my top 5 best books ever list!!

The Cinderella Complex? Never heard of it, but it sounds good! Thanks for the heads-up on that one!
