How do you make friends?

Well you know, we are not going to have very many friends if we don't invite people to be our friends or ask them to be our friends. friendship is a two way street.
So let me ask everyone how do you make friends? Do you just stand around and hope they will become your friend by magic? Or do you work at making friend?. Do you go seek friendship.?
I think there are a lot of very shy people in the world who live with out very many friend becaue they are so shy. Maybe afraid of being rejected or not excepted. How many new friends have you made in the last year? How many have you lost in the last Year? How many people have you rejecterd as a new friend. How many friend ships have you lost out on because you did not take the first step towards a frienship?

My friendships were all screwed up by bipolar & borderline personality disorder (that I didn't know I had at the time). However now with the right meds. & help things are getting better. -

You are right mamob. We need to be a friend before anyone wants to be our friend. A real friend never lets you dwn. n matter what the situation is. -

This is a good post. I'm a shy person but I do try my best to be good friend first!
