Hi from the new girl!

Hey there,
I just joined so I thought I should give myself a quick intro. I'm 30, stay at home mum to one 3 1/2 year old boy; my husband and I have just decided to try for another though. Actually, that's not true, my son has been begging for a brother or sister, sometimes he tries to escape out the front door and when I ask where he is going he says he is going to look for his sister! I explained that brother and sisters come from mama's tummies and when they come they're just tiny babies. He thought about it and said, "we'll I'm making a baby in my tummy and its going to be better than your one!"
Anway, I'm currently studying on line to teach high school English and am really enjoying that. It's great to be able to study from home and mix family life with learning.
I look forward to getting to know everyone.

    Welcome...
I am a SAHM to Valerie 2 1/2 and Trevor almost 5 months.... so said to say.
they are so much fun! that is funny about your son. maybe you can have twins then he can have his own baby :)
My daughter still looks at my tummy and said that is were baby brother came from and I came from when I was a baby.
best of luck with school and being with your son, its is very rewarding and I enjoy it, the best part is their NAP TIME!!!!

Aren't nap times fab! I used to enforce nap time and getting him to sleep would sometimes take longer than the nap! I finally gave up and the up shot of that was that he went to bed way earlier (like 7pm instead of 11pm). Now, strangely enough, he has sort of started putting himself to sleep. I don't make him sleep, he just looks very sleepy, I give him milk and off he pops. And, even with the nap I can get him to bed in the evening by 9:30. Strange, as soon as I stopped fussing about his sleeping habits he took care of it himself!
I find it hard studying it night, I'm usually too tired so during the day is better. My husband has his own business and works from home. With the economy as it is business is very slow. The bad part of that is that we're pretty broke, the good part is that he has more time to spend with our son so I can study.
    Well, back to the books!
