I have my next marathon in 9wks. I generally blog about my training on my own journal, but thought I would keep track of the end here so anyone who happens upon this can cheer me on, or tell me what I'm doing wrong. lol.

Today was an easy 3 mile run, 39 minutes. Hey I said it was a slow one. -

Today I did the dreaded "strength and core' workout and a bike ride. Not a lot of fun, but it does seem to help. -

Speed drills today. Did 5 miles, 5 Yasso 800's. Felt good, but my time was a bit off. 57 minues compared to 56 last week. It felt good anyway. Hope everyone has a blessed weekend. -

Did 3 easy miles this morning, hot and humid, took 38 minutes. Felt pretty good. Taking tomorrow off to eat some donuts! -

After taking Sunday off, I ran/walked 18 miles this morning. It was really hot, humid with "air quality warnings". So I did the last 7 miles on the treadmill at the gym. Now I am really whipped! -

Wow Paprik, that is hot. In my view, that's why they invented the treadmill and the airconditioned gym. lol. Ran 3 easy miles yesterday. It was very hot and humid. Crappy time, 40 minutes. Today I did strength and core and a bike ride. Have been feeling really tired this week. I think it's the heat. That's what I'm blaming anyway. -

Ran 3 miles today in 38 minutes. Felt good. The weather finally broke and my son is home so I am trying to enjoy this week. Not surprised no one is reading this as I am now quite sure that I actually died a while back and am only imagining all this.
