Hi I am starting an anxiety blog and I am trying to get an idea what would help people and what they would want to read. I also am curious if this would even be a popular blog that people would want to read. So I decided to ask people who could relate, since that is my target audience.

My plan so far is to write a blog about my highs and lows of overcoming anxiety. Kinda like a journal of the day to day of what I go through. I am also going to share what works for me and offer tools that may help others.

Does anyone what any suggestions or advice? Does this sound interesting to someone with anxiety? All feedback helpful.

Here is my rough draft of the introduction to my blog. Thanks for all your help. :)

Do you feel like you are worthless? Like your life has no value? Your just existing not living? Does anxiety and fear control you and prevent you from moving forward and reaching your dreams? Does it effect your everyday life and make your decisions for you? Are you sick of living this way, and want the control of your life back? Are you fed up with living this way bound by the chains of anxiety?

That's where I am at in my life. I am finally deciding to take control and fighting for my life back. I have spent too many years in fear and I am determined to break free. Sometimes freedom seems impossible and hard to achieve, but I just tell myself what do I have to loose. Things can only get better from here!

So if you are done living with fear and anxiety join me on my journey to freedom. I will take you through the breakthroughs and set backs as they happen. I will share what I have learned and how it helped and what didn't help. It might take some time, but I'm ready to change my life are you?

I think this sounds great. as you're going through that, perhaps also share links, shows, whatever that have helped you, or the opposite - things you THOUGHT would help that didn't, or had an adverse effect.

It's going to be different for everyone, but it's always a relief for me to see others struggling, because I don't feel so alone. Especially I think it's brave of you to share both the ups and the downs. I think we all have a tendency to want to hide the fact that we're having trouble, or conversly, that we're actualyl having success with something, for fear it might not work once we talk about it.

Just my two cents :) Kudos to you!!

Thanks to everyone that replied. It's nice to know that this is a topic that people would be interested in reading about. I am still planning on doing the blog it is just a little overwhelming to get started. I am still trying to come up with a name :) Also finding information that I can give to people for advice is hard. I've kinda just lived it and tried things. putting it into words is new. Anyway I am going to try to start with journal entries on this site as I am ready to gather my thoughts :)

I'd suggest to read some blogs on anxiety and see what works and doesn't, and what's lacking that you would want to complete on. I have a few in my bookmarks I could send them to you if you want.
