Trash Bags

Does anyone have any ideas on what to use besides plastic trash bags? The idea of not having a bag in the trash cans is kind of gross to me so that isnt an option even though I know I could suck it up for the earth. We now use cloth bags when we go grocery shopping. Before we just used the walmart bags in our trash cans in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Now that we switchd we have had to buy real trash bags for the cans and it seems like a waste. I dont see how it helped anything? So any ideas would be great. I keep hoping someone would make a biodegradable trash bag or something! lol

Oh and does anyone use shamwow's? I think paper towels is something we could stop buying but am not sure what works good on mirrors and windows. I have heard good things about shamwow but no one talks about their affects on mirrors or windows.

Those are my main two problems at the moment. Plastic bags and paper towels.

  Well I'm in BC Canada and here we have a store with all those items you need a credit card for on tv. I'm thinking about buying a few of those shamwow's too! Once I buy one I'll try it on everything and let you all know.
  Your idea about the biodegradable trash bag is awesome! But I have no idea what else you could use. Sorry.

  Thank you! Yes, please let us know! It is better for the enviroment just to wash and reuse things instead of cutting down trees for them and then tossing them in the trash and my family goes through a lot of them.
  
  Thank you. I did not know if the biodegradable trash bag was a silly idea. I have a lot of invention ideas and hopefully one day I can make them. But if someone does it before me that would be awesome too. As long as it gets done and it is done fairly and good for the enviroment. I'm picky!
  
  In order to pass my full inspection the building has to be 100 percent eco friendly ONE HUNDRED PERCENT! So does the things inside used to make, clean etc things. And the vehicles transporting it and the package material etc. You get the idea. But I also know this will take much time for people to want to make their factories and stores that way.
  
  I want to go into business for myself and I think I have every aspect covered. From heating to cleaning to transportation, and the list goes on much much much much more! When I say everything I mean everything! I think it is fun! lol I do a lot of research on the subject. I have lists, research papers, things to look up and work out. I am such a geek.
  
  Okay now I am rambling like a crazy person.
