What are you doing to help save the Earth?

  I'm using engery saving light bulbs, I don't leave the water running when I brush my teeth, I turn off lights I'm not using or don't need to use.

  I turn lights off when they aren't needed and light candles. I don't leave water running. or dripping. I recycle. I bus to school and refuse to get my liscence untill greener cars are affordable. I plant trees with my dad at the beach. I pick up rubbish when I see it =)

  That's great PranGer. Me and my mom just started reclycling toiletpapper rolls and cans.

  We recycle everthing we can. The less that goes into the landfills the better.

  I often step up on my "soap box" and lecture about what will happen if we don't do something NOW.
  and I recycle and use nothing but walking, riding my bike or public transportation to get around.

  I am glad to see this group. So many people that I know do not recycle or care about it. I buy cloth bags for the grocery store. I always turn out lights at home and work when not in use. I am able to recycle all #'s where i live. So, I have 2 bins filled every week with all my recycling. I rescue cans and bottles from people at work that throw them away in my office and take them home to be recycled. Every piece of paper in my office goes in the shredder to be recycled. I love to try to help the earth and would love to see more tips.

  I recyle everything. My car runs off natural gas which is better then regular fuel. I eat all organic and use all organic/ natural products.

  We collect rain water in buckets to water our garden, we recycle, we bought cloth bags so we dont use the plastic bags at the store, we use energy saving light bulbs, we have energy saving washer and dryers, I offer to take peoples plastic bags back to the store (walmart recycles theirs). We compost fruits, vegetables, grinds, biodegradable things like tea bags etc.
  
  There are many more things I want to do but am only 19 and live at home due to illness and when I get better and can get a job I want to make the list longer. In fact I keep a list of things I can do so I dont waste anything and am working on a plan so I dont throw anything away ever again. And am hoping this site gives me many more things to add to the list.
