I think I'm addicted to work

And I've taken on more than I can handle. I am working swing shifts the next six days straight. I am working two jobs, one full time, the other half time. My anxiety is through the roof, and I feel overwhelmed...

  I'm new to this group. I feel for you monkey, I know at times I am addicted to my work. I work pool at a residential treatment facility for adolescents and teens and enjoy the hell out of it. It is my refuge from my full time nursing job of taking care of my 83 y/o mother who lives with me. I love my mother to death, but caring for her can be very stressful at times, my job is an outlet. I know what you mean about anxiety level, mine seems to go in spurts especially the last four years. Look forward to talking to fellow nurse here. Hello to all.
