nursing at 40?

Posted on 06/01/09, 06:40 pm
is it too late at my age to go into this field? i have nightmares about getting fired at 45 and becoming one of those older people who has nowhere to go. In healthcare, I know at least there will always be a demand. Nursing seems to be a broad field. I dont mind the work and the long hours.

I believe obtaining a 2 year associate program is the way for me. I am looking into the Phillips Beth israel school of Nursing in NYC. They are affiliated with Pace University where i obtained my bachelors degree soooo many years ago.....
