Just wondering if anyone has one? I have heard good things about it, but I am not sure I would/could read a book that way!!!

I think it sounds like a great idea. However, I will wait until you can buy books for it anywhere you want. I resent being corralled into only one vendor.

I have an Amazon Kindle and it has completely changed reading for me. I am an avid reader and a habitual re-reader of several novels. Many books you can get from free on other sites like manybooks.net and can download them in multiple ways ie. pdf, text, and for the kindle and iphone. It sucks not being able to buy books from other providers but it is nice knowing that a new release will never be more that $10! For a college student I have been saving soooooo much money on books. And whats also really nice is they back up your books on Amazon.com so if you have a problem with your Kindle (i've had mine a year and its still in great condition) you wont loose any of your books.
