Chicken Soup for the SouL

Do you read them? Do you like them?
My kids gave me two for Christmas this year, "For the Mother's Soul" 1 & 2.
I find I laugh at some stories, cry at others, & just think some are plain stupid.

I think most of them are the last. i'm sorry but i get no enjoyment from them at all. i REALLY don't see the point to the"Chicken soup' bit... -

I've enjoyed some of them, but usually the animal related ones. Some of the stories are just plain stupid. I think the kids were trying to tell you what a comfort you are to them, and that you are every bit as wonderful as any mom written about in the books. Look at the stories that way, and you might like them better, because of the love and admiration behind the gift.
