Abusing laxatives can lead to not being able to go to the bathroom without help. Your muscles that allow you to go to the bathroom lose their tone and may never get it back. It's not worth it. -

Wow...I can't believe I'm seeing this, no disrespect intended. Laxatives will do nothing but cause problems in the future. There is absolutely, ABSOLUTELY no gain from the use of laxatives. The five pounds that you lost is temporary.
I abused laxatives in the past because I thought it was a quick fix and I was too lazy to do things the right way, like work out, exercise, etc and that in combination with bulimia caused an extreme amount of damage to my intestines and having a bowel movement was rare. My body is still recovering from the abuse, and I've been in recovery for about two months now after almost 8 years of a struggle.
Please don't do it, because while it may seem easy now you don't think about the consequences. If you have any questions just send me a message.

I used laxatives for a while and now regret it, a combination of the eating issues and taking the pills have left me suffering with damage to my stomach and kidneys - it really is not worth it, please dont do it hon. x
