Hi everyone,
My name is Rosey. I am a mom of three, grandmother of two, and wife of one, LOL! I have three lab mixed dogs, two still puppies, and I love to travel, swim, and work on computers.
I am a rapid cycler and have been most of my life. For those of you who know, rapid cycling can be very debilitating. I've had many struggles but thankfully, I have found what seems to be a wonder cocktail that has soothed the savage beast inside of me.
I hope you all find this group insightful and helpful. Mostly I want you all to find that there is hope for rapid cycling, and that there are many of us out here.
Warmest regards,
Rosey

Oh, i forgot to introduce myself. I am a wife of a wonderful man, a mother of 1, grandmother of 3 beautiful grandchildren, step mom to 5, step-grandmother to 15 and step step grandma to 2, I recently got married in September. It was everything i could have asked for. My husband knew i was bipolar before he married me, and he is so understanding of my condition. But there are times i can drive him up the wall, but thank the Lord, i haven't been bad for a while now. -

It's nice to meet you! Isn't it such a blessing when our meds work? My husband has dealt with so much angst over me, but thank God he stays with me. We are blessed we have men in our life that understand. -

Hi... I'm Jessica... still learning about this disease as I was just dx in feb. I am BP2. I am about to divorce a man who recently told me he didnt want to deal with this illness any longer and that he deserves to be happy (while I was in the hosp might I add). so walla~
I have a beautiful 6 yr old little girl. Don't really enjoy much these days.. but my hobbies include photography, ballroom dancing, cooking and running. Thanks for inviting me to this group. hugs! -

Mark checking in. I think basically I normally depressed, occaisionally severely. Every 10 years I go hypomanic and do a fair amount of damage. I have periods of agitation where I can do laughing hysterics to suicidal in 15 mins.
I've been married twice, widowered in 2007. I have 20 year old sunbeam of a daughter who keeps me anchored to this world. -

I'm new here--I'd been doing a mood chart the first few months I was seeing my counselor and she figured out I'm a rapid cycler (which I already imagined, the way my moods can change even several times in a day.) -

i'm new here too. i believe i'm a rapid cycler. i can be high, then depressed with in seconds and i mean a split of a second. i can experience mood swings within seconds all day long and into the next. the swinging this sever wears me out, then leads to frustration, and of course that aggravation that can turn to a rage. My dr's seem so unaware right now. i wish i can place them in my head for a day then they'd really scramble to find meds to help me out.
Welcome
