Prednisone and cold/flu question...

Hi I am new on here, and was wondering if anybody out there thinks they have caught cold's/flu's easier on prednisone. I personally haven't had any extra boughts of colds/flu while I've been on prednisone for 9mths for Crohn's, but I have a friend who takes it for her MS and she says it really does her in. If you don't mind sharing I'de love to hear about your experiences!

  Hello!!!i've been on prednisone for my crohns for almost 3 months now. i noticed soon after that i continueously had a stuffed nose and headaches and ear aches. my gastrionoligist said this is one of the side effects. so i take echinechea 24-7! and i get a cold if i miss one dose! hope this helps!

This group is for the many of us that are on Prednisone and hate it! Yes, it heals what ails us, but it also creates another batch of problems!
