heavenly Father it is with praise for who you ARE i come to you. . .it is with thanksgiving to Jesus, who died for me on the cross, that i come to you.
Lord the deeper i get into Your Word the more questions i have, the more confused i am getting particularly about the receiving of, the gift of the Holy Spirit.
i bring this to you gracious Father, and i ask that you lead me to those who have a greater understanding than i do. i thank you that you will.

Lord i pray for everyone here. . .i should like to pray for those who are new to Christ. it is difficult Father, as it is for me, b/c we have questions and often do not know who to ask, where to take our worries. the answers are in the Living Bible, but it takes much diligence, much effort, much work! forgive us O Lord that we get caught up in the whole business of life here on earth---worldly things that matter naught if we focus on YOU and the riches you promise, the inheritance that is rightfully ours as beleivers. amen

dear Lord, i pray for us beleivers who face the difficulty of living with severe illnesses. . .be it those who are afflicted or the caregivers who love them. . .we ALL NEED YOU! i ask that you guide us to each other, for it says in Scripture that we are to look out for one another, and to support each other. and yet, the way this world is now, the obstacles to real faith are seemingly overwhelming. . .forgive us that we do not make the time to read your Word, and to reach out to others more. we must, to find our way to you, our Father in heaven.
help us to step back and breathe, to look around us and realize the blessings you have given us. help us O God to understand that you love us and you want us to be happy, you want us to turn to you in our troubled times. . .most of all help us to PRAISE you, The Almighty Father God. . .no matter what! help us to give thanks to you always, BEFORE we bring our prayer requests to you, b/c this pleases you above all else. when we praise you, when we give thanks, this releases your power to answer our prayers, in your time and in your way. Lord i ask that you teach us patience, for you do answer our cries.
our thoughts are not yours, our ways are not yours. . .i pray that we learn this, and that even if it seems you are not listening and you are not answering our prayers, i ask that you help us to know YOU ARE LISTENING with the greatest love and concern.
i pray to you that we accept our circumstances b/c even though we don't 'get it'. . .everything happens for your glory.
i would ask that you help us to know you are working to build us up, that you have a purpose and a plan for every single one of us. . .your children.
i ask this in the name of my Holy Lord and Saviour, Jesus the Messiah.
