Day 5 post op

Posted on 10/24/09, 05:48 pm
I have been off work this past week and feel I need some support and communication. Already I have questions and concerns. Whenever I call or stop by the surgeon's office, they seem to be so busy and then usually say "so and so needs to address that issue and she's not here today". I THOUGHT I would be sent home from the hospital with my vitamins. When I asked at my final weigh in before surgery they said "we'll make sure you have everything you need" but here it is day #5 and no vitamins (I know they want me to take their liquid vitamins). I also talked to the dr. pre-op about taking Actigall because I still have my gall bladder but no mention of that either. I feel like I'm trying to keep up on all my needs but then I have to be the one to say "hey, shouldn't I be taking this??" Should I be concerned about not having the vitamins? Should I be concerned about the gall bladder issue at this point??
